Driving along the northern coast, we wound up in the town of Bodega in front of the schoolhouse and church where the movie “The Birds” was shot. These buildings were filmed as children fled from vicious birds.

One thing I need every week, is the magnificent kombucha drink. This picture is of a mother kombucha or Scoby which I’m about to throw in a brew and ferment for a few weeks. The anti-oxident infused tea makes me feel like I can fly… R Kelly style. Drink it up!
